Amanda Holden storms off set with Jimmy Carr after savage comment from BBC contestant

Amanda Holden and Jimmy Carr walked off set after a cutting remark from one of the contestants on BBC One show I Can See Your Voice.

The TV presenter was judging another instalment of the show, hosted by Paddy McGuinness, which sees contestants try to work out which out of the six mystery singers presented are good and which were terrible – without actually hearing them sing.

The show sees the judges help members of the public eliminate the fake singers in a line-up, to scoop a cash prize.

Yet the Britain's Got Talent judge and her fellow judge on the show Jimmy Carr are seen marching off the set in an upcoming episode.

The moment - which will air on Saturday evening – was released in a sneak preview by the BBC show on Thursday.

A player on the show called Haloo dismissed the judges’ assistance in the show, saying: "I love you guys but you are no help."

Following the comment, Amanda, 51, was seen standing up from her chair and following comedian Jimmy off to the side of the set.

Host Paddy McGuinness was subsequently heard saying: "Off you go, see you later." Then, referring to another celebrity guest: "Lulu, you can stay."

Meanwhile, the pair’s fellow judging panellist Alison Hammond, was seen roaring with laughter at the interaction.

This comes after Jimmy didn't hold back as he made a brutal joke about Amanda on the BBC show last month.

The controversial comedian, 50, joked that fellow judge Amanda had a ‘new face’, and the radio presenter appeared not to mind, as she laughed along.

One of the possible vocalists on the BBC show was named "No Scrubs", as she studied medicine.

Referencing this, Jimmy then said: "You know, No Scrubs. Would it be appropriate to take a moment to thank the doctors and nurses that have worked tirelessly over the last couple of years?"

The studio applauded, before Jimmy continued: "On Amanda's new face..."

Paddy couldn't contain her laughter, and Amanda seemed to see the funny side too, as she laughed along.

Playing the innocent, Jimmy then asked: "What?" before Alison jokingly rebuked him in a stern voice, saying "Jimmy!"

I Can See Your Voice continues on Saturday at 9.10pm on BBC One and iPlayer
