Amanda Holden shows off toned legs in asymmetrical lemon gown on the BGT red carpet

Amanda Holden put on a very leggy display as she stepped out onto the Britain's Got Talent red carpet in a lemon gown.

The 50-year-old stunned in the skin-tight dress adorned with asymmetrical lace detailing reaching up to her hip and showing off her toned legs.

She accessorised with a pair of clear stilettos and kept her make up natural with a nude palette.

The radio host was joined by Alesha Dixon, who added a pop of orange to a very grey Oxford Circus.

The stars posed for cameras as they welcomed back the much-loved talent show after two years of filming disruption.

Singer Alesha, 43, opted a bold suit jacket and trousers, revealing her washboard abs.

The high-waisted flares had a small split, allowing the star's strappy heels to peep through.

She wore her hair sleek and straight and added a khaki bralette and gold chains to the vibrant get up.

Simon Cowell, 62 and David Walliams, 50, didn't get the colourful memo and both opted for a more monochrome look.

David looked snappy in a black suit and shirt, adding a patterned handkerchief in his breast pocket.

The king of talent shows, Simon, who recently proposed to Lauren Silverman, wore his trademark light blue jeans and v-neck top.

One audition bravely incorporated an engagement, which prompted David to poke fun at Simon, in his usual fashion.

Speaking about Simon, David said: "It was good you brought it up to date with the engagement. I mean, they only had a kid seven years ago. He took his time.”

Ant and Dec, both 46, appeared on the red carpet ahead of the judges dressed as fighter pilots in matching boiler suits and black boots.

The comedy duo appeared to race each other down the strip in the capital, laughing as they whizzed past fans.

It came after Ant was open about how emotional he felt to return to the competition after it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.

As well as the show being cancelled in 2021, the live semi-finals had to be delayed in 2020 after restrictions were put in place.

They ended up taking place in the autumn of that year instead in front of a remote studio audience.

Ant spoke to the audience: "Excuse me while I go and cry. We are so excited to be back. We were gutted to miss last year and not get to see you all. But we’re back, raring to go and have one hell of a show for you."
