Amanda Holden has seemingly put plans to move to the United States on the back burner amid reports she's been “eyeing up a place in Surrey” again.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge put her five-bedroom Surrey "dream" home on the market earlier this year for a cool £5million.
A month after she had put her house up for sale, reports emerged in April that the Heart FM radio presenter considered quitting the UK following a visit to America's Got Talent’s set.
At the time, The Sun claimed the 52-year-old had been spending two weeks meeting producers in Los Angeles and got on well with AGT judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara.
It was also believed that her eldest daughter Lexi, 17, was considering attending a university in the US and has been looking at studying in LA, Boston or New York.
Despite the reports, it seems the star is planning a move back to Surrey.
According to The Sun, an insider said: “She has worked her way up to become one of TV’s most successful stars and now she’s reaping the rewards.
“Only the most wealthy and ambitious people tend to be able to live there and she’ll certainly be in good company with bankers, footballers and rock stars.
“Amanda is used to a life in the city, and moving to Surrey means she’ll be able to live more of a semi-rural existence without giving up the convenient commute into the capital where most of her work takes her.”
The Standard has contacted Amanda Holden's representatives for a comment.
Holden shares Lexi and a younger daughter Hollie, 11, with her music producer husband Chris Hughes, who she married in 2008.
