Amanda Holden has returned to social media after throwing 'shade' at Phillip Schofield. The Britain's Got Talent judge divided her social media followers over the weekend as she seemingly reacted to the news that the presenter had quit This Morning.
ITV announced on Saturday (May 20) that after 20 years fronting the daytime show, the veteran presenter had made the decision to 'step back' after the show had 'become the story' and claimed he wanted to 'protect the show he loved'.
The shock news came after a reported 'rift' behind the scenes between Phillip and his co-host Holly Willoughby. The duo, who have hosted the ITV daytime show together for 14 years, are reported to be 'barely speaking' behind the scenes. Claims of issues between the pair have been brewing in recent weeks after the presenters failed to host the programme together for a number of weeks.

After the news broke, Amanda took to Instagram, simply posting the flexed bicep emoji against a black backdrop to her main grid. The comments quickly flooded with messages as she left the post with no caption.
@lynda.h.vincent said: "This response breaks the internet." @megirvine31 said: "AMANDA THE SHADE THE SHADE." @mcraig1982 quipped: "No Holden back."
But others weren't as impressed. @fraggle69kel commented: "It says a lot about a person when they celebrate another's misfortune!" @amanda.jane.allen65 wrote: "What happened to being kind!!!" @jonifdraws added: "I mean.. a bit immature."
Amanda has since ignored the ongoing drama and shared a cheeky snap as she posed with her rarely-seen mum Judith and daughter Lexi. The trio enjoyed some time in the spring sunshine on Sunday (May 21).
Taking to her Instagram Story, the 52-year-old shared a short video clip of some "cigars" in a glass ashtray, to which she added the text: "These aren't real. They're cream." She followed this with a photo of herself and her mum "smoking", as she wrote: "We don't smoke. [flexed bicep emoji] lcecream Cigars."
Later taking to her main Instagram grid, Heart Radio host Amanda shared a snap of herself, her mum, and her daughter, which she captioned: "Such a gorgeous afternoon with my mummy and @lexi.hughes_official."
And fans were quick to gush over the image of the three generations. @mucknbrass said: "Gorgeous girl gang." @zoet4750 commented: "Gorgeous - as for your stunning daughter . . Along the lines of a young Brook Shields - absolutely stunning."
@auntie_sloaney wrote: "Did you hit the lottery in the genes department!!!" @tdb307 replied: "Such good jeans from mummy making you all look ridiculously beautiful." @simon.warrington.92 added: "If Carlsberg made or could ever produce Genes. No Holden back here…"
