Amanda Holden pays heartbreaking tribute to her son on what would have been his 11th birthday

Amanda Holden has paid a moving tribute to her stillborn son Theo on what would have been his 11th birthday.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 50, shared a message with her boy on her Instagram to say she's “still grateful” he chose her and her husband Chris Hughes.

The Heart Radio presenter shared a photo of a pair of new-born footprints and wrote: “You would have been 11 today.

"I’m still grateful you chose us for your journey .. #Theo.”

In 2011, when she was seven months pregnant, a scan revealed that Theo’s heart had stopped.

Amanda, who also has two daughters Hollie, 16, and 10-year-old Lexi with her husband Chris Hughes, underwent a caesarean at West Middlesex University Hospital.

Amanda previously trained as a midwife there for the ITV documentary called Out Of My Depth in 2009.

Her devastating experience prompted her to set up Theo’s Hope Appeal in 2018, as part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, to provide special bereavement counsellors at all UK maternity units.

Friends and followers rushed to send their support.

Her Heart co-star and Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts sent her love.

And Myleene Klass commented: "Thinking of you Mandy x"
