AJ Odudu has been confirmed as the spokesperson for the UK jury in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, with her set to make history by performing the role from the North West.
The presenter, 34, shared the news recently ahead of the competition, which begins with its first semi-final tomorrow (May 10) before the Grand Final on Saturday night (May 14).
She will be responsible for announcing the country that the UK jury has decided to award twelve points - referred to as 'douze points' within the competition - to during the final.
The Strictly Come Dancing alum will take over the role from Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, 51, who had the honour of sharing our jury's favourite act last year.
It's become the norm in recent years that a spokesperson for the UK holds the position for just one year, though there are examples of some being in the role for several years.
Semi-finals commentator Scott Mills, 48, was spokesperson between 2012 and 2014. Fearne Cotton, 40, did it in 2006 and 2007, whilst Lorraine Kelly, 62, did it in 2003 and 2004.
AJ however is set to make history in the role as the first spokesperson to present the UK jury's twelve points from the North West - with her due to appear live from Salford.

She said recently: "Hello, this is Salford calling! I'm beyond excited to be the first Eurovision spokesperson to present the UK jury's douze points live from the North West."
The annual contest will be held in Turin, in Italy, this year, with AJ appearing via live link during the results portion of the Grand Final - which will be broadcast on Saturday.
The presenter announced the news on social media last month, with her teasing to fans that she can't wait to show off some Italian phrases in her "finest Lancashire accent."
Graham Norton will return to provide commentary of the Grand Final for viewers in the UK, with the role filled by Scott alongside Rylan Clark, 33, during the semi-finals.
The semi-finals - which don't include the UK entry - will be broadcast tomorrow (May 10) and Thursday (May 12) night at 8pm on BBC Three as well as on the BBC iPlayer.
The Grand Final - featuring the UK, the rest of the 'Big Five' and acts who qualified from the semis - is on Saturday (May 14) from 8pm on BBC One, Radio 2 and iPlayer.
