Amanda Holden may have swapped her glamourous outfits for hiking boots for charity but she tried her best to make it as normal as possible with a face full of make-up.
The Britain's Got Talent judge, 51, is currently undertaking the National Three Peaks Challenge for Heart's charity Global's Make Some Noise. The challenge is to complete the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland within 24 hours.
At the time of writing, the Heart Breakfast host had already completed Snowdon (1,085m) and had reach the summit Scafell Pike (978m), with only the tallest peak to go - Ben Nevis (1,345m).
According to the official Three Peaks Challenge website, the total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
She has been keeping her 1.8 million Instagram followers updated throughout her challenge, starting with a video of herself starting the walk as she wore a red Heart Radio jacket, matching hat, black leggings and grey walking boots.
Amanda joked what the checklist was in her backpack as she ticked off lip gloss, stilettos and lashes as she walked to the music of The Proclaimers hit I'm Gonna Be (500 miles).
She shared footage throughout the day, including a glamourous selfie on her journey up to the Snowdon summit. The army of 'Mandy's Mountaineers' - the team of helpers which she nicknamed - were keeping her spirits up as the weather most definitely went against her.
Howling winds can be heard on the camera on their climb up the Welsh mountain and progressively worsened as they ascended.
The team completed their first peak at around 2.45pm as a wrapped-up Amanda said: "I feel really windswept, it's snowing, but we made it to the top! Oh my God, now we have to go all the way back down."
Next was Scafell Pike and due to a two-hour delay at the start of the challenge, it meant that she had to start the climb in the dark. The weather was equally as harsh as rain and wind battered the radio presenter in the Lake District.
Updates were at a premium but at 11.45pm, Amanda and her team of mountaineers reached their second summit.
She wrote on Instagram: "Well that was horrific. We made it to the top of #scarfellpike in the worst weather ever.
"Necked a bag of #skittles Now in car on way to #bennevis link in bio to donate anything you can to @globals_make_some_noise."
