While she may look years younger than her actual age of 50, Amanda Holden insisted that she was "too old" to give birth again as she cooed over a newborn baby on Friday morning.
The Heart Breakfast presenter was live on air as she cradled her colleague's daughter, telling listeners "it's too late for me now" when her co-workers picked up on her broody nature.
Amanda, who has co-hosted the hit morning show with Jamie Theakston since 2019, shared a clip of the conversation to her 1.7 million followers on Instagram.
"Jamie, I've on a teeny weeny baby in my arms," the Britain's Got Talent judge gushed as she bounced the young tot in her arms.
"You may remember if you're a regular listener to Heart Breakfast, our producer Anna went off to have a baby and little Autumn is in my arms right now!"
Off-camera, co-host Jamie can be heard telling the Wild at Heart actress: "You're looking quite broody there."
"It's too late for me now, Jamie," Amanda replied.
"I'm old!"
The 50-year-old is mother to two children with her husband, record producer Chris Hughes.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Alexa Hughes into the world in 2006, tying the knot at Babington House, Somerset two years later.
Amanda conceived a second child in 2010 but sadly suffered a heartbreaking tragedy, with her son being born stillborn at seven months old in 2011.
The following year, the couple were overjoyed to give birth to second daughter Hollie Rose Hughes, now 15, in 2012 following medical complications.
Earlier this year, the TV personality revealed that her two daughters are actually the brains behind her sometimes 'controversial' outfits on Britain's Got Talent, telling You magazine that the ladies in her life get the final say on her skimpy dresses.
"If I'm trying on outfits for shows I'll say to Lexi: 'Is there too much side-boob?' or 'Is this too much?' and she'll grin and say: 'Go for it, Mum'," she told the publication in March 2021.
Amanda recently shared a sweet snap of herself and her two daughters when she took to Instagram to urge her fans to write to their local MP to change the rules on school children isolating due to coronavirus.
Listing multiple points to include in the letter, she passionately made her feelings on the current rules clear underneath the cute family picture.
"How much longer are we going to destroy children’s educational prospects? Where is the roadmap for stabilising children’s learning?" the star wrote in the length caption.
"There is none because it is not a priority."
The TV presenter was hit with a mainly positive response from friends and celebrity pals, including Alexandra Burke and Helen Flanagan who backed her words with supportive emojis.
