Amanda Holden suffered an encounter with the police while filming her latest TV venture.
The Britain's Got Talent judge was exploring Italy with close friend Alan Carr when they were pulled over by Italian officers. The TV personalities were working on their new BBC show together, Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job.
A clip on her Instagram account featured the encounter, where Amanda appeared to be shocked yet amused. It was captioned: "A run in with the Italian police."

The short video showed Alan yelling: "Oh no. What's this? We're being pulled over?" Amanda asked: "Are you joking? What am I doing?"
Bemused, she added: "I'm being pulled over by the police. This is hilarious." But the TV presenter wasn't laughing as a uniformed police officer approached her car.
Amanda rolled down the window and the officer pointed to one side while speaking in Italian. The clip then showed her reversing as per the copper's instructions as she asked: "I wasn't going too fast was I?"
The officer spoke to her once more and she got out of the car as Alan joked: "You'll be on Banged Up Abroad!"
A little while later, Amanda returned to the car as she explained: "It was just a random check." Alan said: "I can't believe that just happened, can you?"
He added: "I mean he was really severe. I mean my fantasy of being pulled over by a hunky Italian policeman... it's ruined it for me. You loved it though."
Amanda said: "I enjoyed it in the end." Scarily, Alan added: "I noticed they had a gun. Now that terrifies me." His friend said: "I noticed they had handcuffs."
Speaking about the ordeal on Heart Breakfast radio show, Amanda, 51, said that the authorities "were pretty mean". But Alan joked that Amanda had "turned on the charm" to get herself out of trouble.
