Amanda Holden addresses appearing 'braless' in latest fashion display as she continues 'feud'

Amanda Holden has once again addressed her seemingly 'braless' appearances as she gave fans a glimpse into her latest fashion display. The Britain's Got Talent judge is used to having all eyes on her when it comes to her outfits with some of her wardrobe choices even attracting official complaints.

And for those who want to know what she's wearing, Amanda takes to Instagram each day she's appearing on Heart Breakfast to show off her outfit for that day as she puts on a glamourous display each time she heads to the Global studio.

So as usual, on Wednesday (May 24), the 52-year-old TV star took to Instagram to talk her two million followers through her outfit of the day, beginning: "Hello! It is hump day. It feels a bit humpy-ish today. I’ve come quite casually to work for me, I’m in Reiss."

Amanda, who looked stunning in the white wide-legged trousers and pinstriped top combo, went on to say: "This top’s a keeper. [It’s] perfect for the summer. You can dress it up or down." But discussing her underwear options, she continued: "It’s a little bit sheer, I’ve got a nude bra underneath."

She added, referring to the headlines made about her appearance: "Although I’m sure it will say 'braless Amanda Holden leaves Global building' after this,' to which she then clarified: ‘I’m not braless. I hardly ever am braless. [Laughing] I don’t know why I got into a conversation about that."

It comes after Amanda addressed what many believe are her 'braless' appearances. Back in March, when she was getting ready to return to BGT alongside her fellow ITV talent show judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Toniolo, the mum-of-two wanted to put something straight - she does wear a bra –it's just that her nipples are just 'affected by the cold.'

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Amanda spoke in a lighthearted manner about the way she is referred to in the press, sometimes described in articles as ‘flaunting’ her legs or ‘parading’ down the street. "I’m not flaunting, I’m walking!" she said.

Moving on to the description of her being ‘braless’ in pap shots of her walking on the street, often to the Global studios where she presents Heart Breakfast alongside Jamie Theakston, Amanda insisted: "I’m not braless."

She went on: "The fact is, I’m wearing Skims [bras], but my nipples are always affected by the cold. There’s nothing I can do about it." Amanda then used a fairytale-based analogy to describe her problem – the Princess and the Pea. "20 mattresses down and you still see my nipples. They show through anything," she quipped before joking that they acted as a compass and that at least she would "never get lost."

Meanwhile, Amanda has backed Dermot O’Leary to replace Phillip on This Morning after reigniting her 'feud' with her former ITV colleague. Dermot, who celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday (May 24), and his usual Friday co-host Alison Hammond stepped in to present This Morning on Monday and Tuesday, while Craig Doyle took the helm with Alison on Wednesday.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda, who has previously spoken of an apparent rift between her and Phillip, backed the former X Factor host for a permanent place on the ITV sofa. Appearing on her Heart Breakfast show, co-host Jamie Theakston asked if she thinks Dermot would be “good to replace” Phillip. The 52-year-old said: "Yes. I think him and Alison do a great job, don’t they?"

It comes after Amanda took to Instagram when news of Phillip's This Morning exit broke, simply posting the flexed bicep emoji against a black backdrop to her main grid. The comments quickly flooded with messages as she left the post with no caption.
