Amadou Onana misses out on the Everton starting line-up for the crunch game with relegation rivals Leicester City.
The midfielder returned to the first XI against Newcastle United following a two-match absence with a groin issue. But he is only on the bench at the King Power Stadium with James Garner coming into the side instead.
An update on the Everton website confirmed: "Sean Dyche has revealed Amadou Onana has been ill for the past couple of days, while Ben Godfrey, who misses out on the matchday squad, has a groin injury."
Seamus Coleman does return, however, providing a boost to a defence that conceded four on Thursday night.

With Godfrey making way for the club captain, Dyche has made two changes to the side that collapsed in the second half at Goodison Park in midweek. Coleman’s return means Everton have their first choice right-back available for the first time since he came off in the away defeat to Manchester United. Godfrey had occupied his place against Fulham and Newcastle, with Mason Holgate deputising there against Crystal Palace. Both struggled.
Neither Holgate, who is available after the one-game suspension he received for his red card at Selhurst Park, nor Godfrey, are in the matchday squad.
With Garner coming into the team Dyche appears to have retained the 4-5-1 he has utilised when possible. Dyche had moved Alex Iwobi into the middle at Palace but Garner’s inclusion means Iwobi is set to stay on the right of midfield. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be chasing his first goal since returning to fitness while Dyche continues with the partnership of Michael Keane and James Tarkowski at centre back.
