Amad Diallo sends Rangers transfer sleuths into overdrive as Manchester United loanee walks down memory lane

Rangers fans reckon Amad Diallo could make an Ibrox return after the winger's latest social media post.

The Manchester United loanee took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of himself during his time with Gio van Bronckhorst's side.

The 19-year-old spent the second half of the season in Glasgow and his latest post has supporters thinking he isn't finished with Rangers yet.

The picture could of course simply mean the winger is looking back at fond memories - something he has done before by sharing a farewell message at the end of his loan spell.

But that isn't stopping some fans musing over the possibility of the Ivory Coast international's return.

The Manchester United teen was tipped as a major January coup but struggled to make a consistent impact.

Diallo netted three time in total for Rangers during his time at the club, making 14 appearances.

Discussion based on his return has split the opinions of fans on social media.

Taking to Twitter, some vowed they were keen to give the youngster another chance, with others not so open to the idea.

One post read: "Wee Amad Diallo loved it up here and I think he's a cracking wee player who was just finding his feet after shite start Rangers, I wouldn't mind him coming back up as long as it was OK financially for the club."

Another Tweeted: "If we extended Amad Diallo loan deal, I'd be quite happy with it, he did well with the game time he got".
