"It is a good place for me to continue to grow and continue in my development.

"The stadium is also good - it is a big stadium with lots of fans.

"I just want to experience victories and glory with them and I hope to start very soon."

There were other options on the table for Diallo - who has Champions League and Europa League experience - but he feels Rangers is the "ideal destination" for his development as he hopes to settle quickly into the Scottish game.

He added: "I chose this club as I think it is the ideal club for my progression.

"I reflected on it a lot as I had lots of offers, but I chose Rangers as I think it is very similar to the Premier League and the atmosphere is also similar.

"I think for my progression it is the ideal destination. It is good to come to a club which wins trophies every year like Rangers.
