Outgoing Rangers loanee Amad Diallo has said a heartfelt goodbye to teammate Fashion Sakala as he prepares to leave Ibrox.
The Manchester United winger was seen as a major January coup but struggled to make an impact under Gio van Bronckhorst.
He netted three goals for Rangers and rounded off his spell with a Scottish Cup winners medal with sporting director Ross Wilson unlikely to be inclined to bring Diallo back next term.
But as the 19-year-old prepares for the next chapter of his career he has clearly formed a bond with one teammate.
Diallo took to social media to wish Fashion Sakala well as he gears up for his return to Old Trafford.
He posted several pictures with the Zambia international and commented: "It was a pleasure my friend. Forever friends."
Diallo faces an uncertain future at Manchester United following his disappointing spell north of the border.
Having been brought in for a fee that could rise to £37million, incoming boss Erik ten Haag will be evaluating his squad for the new campaign.
However, he has found an admirer in former Chelsea and Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba.
Following Rangers Europa League final defeat, he commented on his Instagram "The future is YOURS @amaddiallo19 keep your head up and trust God."
