Amad Diallo could leave Rangers early as expert reveals Erik ten Hag's plans for Manchester United loanees

Incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen to analyse the players away from Old Trafford on loan as soon as possible.

And that could be good news for Rangers outcast Amad Diallo during his torrid spell at Ibrox.

The £37million forward scored on his debut at Ross County having joined on loan in January.

The 19-year-old hasn't started for Rangers since the Scottish Cup win over Annan Athletic, with his last Premiership start coming in the 3-0 derby defeat to Celtic in February.

The forgotten winger could see his loan cut short in Glasgow as Ten Hag prepares to arrive from Ajax.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano states that the Old Trafford boss is desperate to revamp his squad and assess the players currently out on loan.

Diallo was named on a list of players name-checked on the Dutchman's list of loanee priorities.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said: “It’s really important for Erik ten Hag to decide as soon as possible on the players who are out on loan.

“Donny van de Beek, he knows Donny very well so he’ll have a conversation with him to decide on his future.

“Anthony Martial, he will be back from Sevilla and he wants to decide on Martial as soon as possible.

"He doesn’t want the club to arrive in August with these players maybe still available on the market.

“He wants these players to decide if they are a part of the project if not now, in May or in June. Not at the end of the market. Same for Amad Diallo, who’ll be back from Rangers.”
