Rangers are eyeing a sensational swoop for Manchester United winger Amad Diallo, according to a report.
The Ibrox side are on the hunt for a replacement for Ianis Hagi who won't play again this season due to injury.
Gio van Bronckhorst said after that news was confirmed that he wanted one more signing before Monday's transfer deadline.
And the Scottish Daily Express reveal that Diallo, who joined United from Atalanta in a £20m deal last January, is being targeted.
The 19-year-old has only made one senior appearance for the Old Trafford side this season and was close to joining Van Bronckhorst's former side Feyenoord on loan in the summer.
Now they want him to rack up regular minutes in the second half of the season and Rangers could offer that.
However it's believed there is extensive competition in the English Championship and in Serie A for the Ivorian.
It comes after Record Sport learned this week that Rangers are not interested in Bologna's Andreas Skov Olsen.
They have been linked throughout the window but there has been no approach from Ibrox for the Denmark winger and he is not a target they are pursuing in this window.
