Adelaide United have added more firepower to their stacked A-League Women attack, with China's Asian Cup final hero Xiao Yuyi joining on loan for the upcoming season.
Xiao scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute of China's extraordinary 3-2 comeback win over South Korea in February's decider.
The 26-year-old forward joins Adelaide from Shanghai Shengli in the Chinese Women's Super League.
She will link up with gun forwards Fiona Worts and Chelsie Dawber, who is returning on loan from Chicago Red Stars.
"I am very happy to be joining Adelaide United," Xiao said in a statement.
"This is an exciting move for me and my career and I cannot wait to start working hard with the team.
"We were very competitive last season and I am confident that we can have another successful year together."
Adelaide made the finals for the first time last season and will hope Xiao can help them better their semi-final exit.
"She is a player with many attributes that will compliment our squad, but specifically our attacking depth," coach Adrian Stenta said in a statement.
"Her experience at international level will be crucial as we head into the season and I'm sure many of our players will be able to learn a lot from her as we push for success this season."
