Alvin Kamara Celebrates Return From Suspension With Comical Video

While the Saints could be facing the prospect of playing without starting quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) for several weeks, the club welcomed back star running back Alvin Kamara on Monday.

The five-time Pro Bowl running back is set to make his return from his three-game suspension in Week 4 against NFC South rival Tampa Bay.

New Orleans' star running back opted to celebrate his 2023 arrival with a comical video of a person being released from jail. The faces of the people in the clip are replaced with floating heads of himself as well as those belonging to Carr and head coach Dennis Allen.

The post includes the caption, "First day out."

New Orleans, who started the season with wins over the Titans and Panthers, will look to Kamara to help the club rebound from a shocking loss to the Packers in Week 3. After Carr was forced to leave the game with a shoulder injury, the Saints allowed the Packers to score 18 unanswered points over the final 11 minutes of the game.

The Saints defense, which has not allowed more than 17 points in a game this season, is hoping that Kamara's return will help ignite a ground attack that ranks 20th in the NFL. Through three games, New Orleans has rushed for just 280 yards and two touchdowns.

Backup quarterback Taysom Hill leads the team in rushing with 91 yards, while Jamaal Williams, who ranks second on the team with 74 yards, was placed on the injured list last week due to a hamstring issue. In Week 3, rookie Kendre Miller led the Saints in rushing with just 34 yards.

Fantasy football managers should expect a heavy dose of one of the NFL’s most complete backs both on the ground and the passing game in his first game back against the Buccaneers.
