New Delhi: Samajwadi Party founder and patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on Monday at a hospital in Gurugram. He was 83.
His mortal remains have been taken to Saifai for the last rites.
After the demise of veteran leader Mulayam Singh, condolence messages started pouring in from all quarters. A large number of leaders and supporters are offering their condolences to the departed soul.
Before the last rites tomorrow the mortal remains will be kept at his residence at Saifai for the people to pay their last homage to their beloved leader.
The cementation will take place in the afternoon tomorrow will full state honours near Saifai Mahotsav pandal where a monument will be build in his memory.
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is reaching Saifai to offer his last tributes to Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Keeping in view, a large crowd of Mulayam Singh supporters and admires the security has been tightened at his residence. The District Magistrate along with other administrative officials have reached Saifai to monitor the arrangements for the last rites.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was born on 22 November 1939 in Saifai, Etawah district. He did his BA,BT and MA (Political Science) from Agra University. After his education, Mulayam Singh joined as a teacher but later resigned to the enter politics.
