Alun Wyn Jones and his Wales team-mates were left stunned by referee Angus Gardner's decision to yellow card him in the second half against the Springboks when he apparently did nothing wrong.
Gardner opted to send the lock from the field on 57 minutes, accusing him of cynically using his hands in a ruck to move the ball close to Wales' try line. But video footage shows that was not the case - with the ball seeming to come off a 'Boks knee instead.
Jones was visibly furious by the decision, with Liam Williams and Josh Adams pleading with the referee - the latter calling for the TMO to intervene more than once.

But the referee was satisfied with the exchange he had with his touch judge.
"I haven't touched it!" Jones could be heard saying, as he looked incredulous and initially appeared reluctant to leave the field as play was about to continue. It was the second consecutive match in which Jones has been sin binned shortly after coming on.
Jamie Roberts, commentating for Sky Sports, said of the call: "That's a pretty poor call, isn't it? I don't think they got that one right."
The Springboks had a one-man advantage and were leading 9-3 at the time.
