Alun Wyn Jones could be set to extend his career, with the Gallagher Premiership a potential destination for the Wales legend.
The most capped player in the history of international rugby recently announced his shock retirement from the test scene, a mere four months out from a Rugby World Cup he had been building towards for the previous four years.
Following last week's historic clash between the Barbarians and Swansea RFC at St Helens, Jones revealed he has already played his final game for the Ospreys.

WalesOnline has learnt there is interest in England for the 170-cap international lock, with Bath, Bristol Bears, and Gloucester all potentially open to exploring options.
Bristol are losing their underrated second-row Joe Joyce to Connacht so could do with strengthening that area, while their director of rugby Pat Lam has always admired Welsh players.
A high-ranking source over the bridge told us even though the majority of English clubs have finalised their squads for next season, there are a few who would be interested in Jones, even if at 37 he is past his best.
The fact he will be available throughout the season due to his retirement from test rugby will make Jones a more attractive proposition, but clubs will have to decide whether he still has it in him to perform consistently well week in week out at Premiership level.
“Whatever’s next, if something pops up, there might be something domestic. I won’t be back with the Ospreys,” Jones told The Barbarians Show podcast last week.
“But if nothing does, I can be pretty happy with my innings anyway, but we will see what comes in the next few months.”
