Alnwick Garden to hold careers fair ahead of Lilidorei spring opening

Lilidorei will be home to the world's largest play structure when it opens in spring and is one of the most anticipated new attractions in Northumberland for 2023.

And the Alnwick Garden, where Lilidorei is hidden, is starting a massive recruitment drive as it hopes to bring 280,000 more visitors to the region each year. The announcement follows on from neighbouring Alnwick Castle announcing 140 jobs for the summer season, including performers, tour guides, and historical interpreters.

As well as jobs at Lilidorei, there are jobs in the Garden itself. The adventure playground, which is centred around a 26 metres tall structure called Elfvindrin and home to nine clans who spend the year worshipping Christmas, has been at least seven years in the making and has been named one of Northumberland's most anticipated UK openings in 2023 by Time Out alongside Ad Gefrin, the Tempus Hotel, and the England Coastal Path.

Local primary schools have been involved in tree planting on site, while it's claimed that free school visits to Lilidorei will be offered to every school in the North East once the doors are open. Its construction is the subject of a

We are looking for engaging and charismatic individuals to help us create an unforgettable experience unlike any other."

The Alnwick Garden Careers Fair will take place on February 23. Exhibitors at the fair will also include local employers, who organisers are encouraging to get in touch if they wish to reserve a stand.
