A survey of more than 1,700 Manchester Evening News readers found that 87% are put off by the charges.
We quizzed readers after a father from Yorkshire told how he was bowled over earlier this month by the £20 fee he had to pay for two hours of parking, while his daughter paid £12 for an hour in the Terminal 2 multi-storey.
Many of our readers were sympathetic, with 96% of those we surveyed saying that they thought prices for airport parking were too high.

Some 69% of people we asked even went as far as to say they were put off entirely from using Manchester Airport by the prices.
Of those that do use it, 54% said they usually drove to the airport, with a further 29% saying they travelled via taxi or a private hire vehicle. Only 8% said they would use public transport.

Drop-off charging was first introduced at the airport in 2018 when bosses axed the 'kiss and fly' free drop-off lanes in favour of pay-per-use bays.
At the time, bosses responded to criticism around the scheme by insisting its primary objective was to relieve crippling congestion around the site rather than boosting income.
