Rangers legend Ally McCoist says he would offer to drive Ange Postecoglou to Leeds himself if he was approached by the Premier League side.
Postecoglou's name has been mentioned as a potential option to replace Jesse Marsch, who was sacked by Leeds on Monday following a run of two wins in 17 league games, and having gone seven matches without a victory in the Premier League.
There is no hint that Postecoglou would leave Glasgow any time soon, with the Australian chasing a domestic treble at Celtic Park. But McCoist admitted that he has been impressed by the job that Postecoglou has done at Celtic, and joked that he would drive him to England himself to ensure that he moved on from Rangers' Old Firm rivals.
“He is very good. If Terry the truck driver is going to pick Neil [Warnock] up then I could head up to Glasgow and pick big Ange up," McCoist told talkSPORT.

Ex-Leeds assistant and under-23s coach Carlos Corberan is among the contenders, while The Athletic have reported that the Whites are 'weighing up an approach' for Rayo Vallecano boss Andoni Iraola.
Corberan has collected 11 victories from his first 14 league games since succeeding Steve Bruce as West Brom manager in October. The Spaniard has propelled the Baggies from the relegation zone into the Championship play-offs after just over three months at the helm.
Iraola has spent the last two-and-a-half years at Rayo Vallecano, who are just three points shy of the top four in La Liga. The 40-year-old helped Vallecano achieve promotion to the top-flight in 2021, before guiding them to the Copa del Rey semi-finals for the first time in 40 years last season.
Postecoglou won the Scottish Premiership title and Scottish League Cup last season, and led them into the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2017/18 this term.
Celtic are currently nine points clear at the summit of the Scottish top-flight and have scored an astonishing 78 goals in 25 league games. They also face Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final later this month, and host St Mirren in the Scottish Cup fourth round this weekend.
