Ally McCoist refused to take the bait of TV sparring partner Chris Sutton as he took a cheeky dig at Celtic 's derby day celebration.
The Rangers legend wasn't having the post-match party atmosphere at Celtic Park as Ange Postecoglou 's side battered the champions.
After watching his former side earn bragging rights, Sutton was keen to wind up on BT Sport's Scottish Football Extra.
But McCoist brushed it aside insisting that the players and fans had to calm down.
Sutton said: “I can’t remember the last time Ally got absolutely pumped but his team got pumped. Absolutely blown away by Celtic.
“Celtic back on top. You only have to look at the possession stats, Celtic top of those and the Celtic ball boys second. Where were the Rangers?”
McCoist hit back: “It was three points lads. It was three points.
“I didn’t know you also won the Calcutta Cup, the Super Bowl, the Ryder Cup.
“There’s over the top celebrations but how about that?"
But Sutton wasn't having any of it, clapping back: "What a sore loser!"
McCoist went on: “I got a complaint from one of my Celtic supporting mates in the village because big Ange never shook his hand after the game.
“They were shaking hands with the crowd, gee whiz lads. Calm down.”
