Rangers legend Ally McCoist received a typical reception at Ayr Racecourse as he emerged with the Scottish Grand National trophy.
But the wisecracking pundit didn't let a hot and cold atmosphere spoil his afternoon as he presented the hulking prize to the jockeys before Win My Wings romped home.
The former Ibrox striker emerged with the silverware just before the 3.35pm start time on the biggest day of the Scottish racing calendar.
And on Old Firm eve the presumably blue half of the crowd erupted with cheers – before Celtic fans spotted him and fired back with some pantomime boos.
A wry smile from McCoist showed he wasn't fussed before a quick chat with ITV in which he joked he'd expected a frostier reception.
The pundit said: "It's been a while since I've had a trophy in my possession.
"I'm always glass half-full, there were less boos than I anticipated.
"So that’s a positive!"
