ALLY MCCOIST still believes that Rangers should have their weekend fixture against Hibernian postponed to allow for further preparations ahead of their second leg against PSV.
The Light Blues and the Dutch outfit fought out a 2-2 draw at Ibrox last night and now head to the Netherlands for the return fixture.
PSV do not have a fixture this weekend after Dutch league chiefs allowed for a postponement to aid their pre-match European build-up.
McCoist called for Rangers to receive the same treatment but others have argued that it will be better for the team to continue the momentum.
He said last night on BT Sport: "Yeah, I think I'd rather have the days off to be honest with you.
"The Dutch FA are obviously doing everything they can to help one of their clubs, which is great. Well done to the Dutch FA for doing that - Rangers go to Easter Road."
Kenny Miller also commented, adding: "I think at this stage of the season, the more games that you get under your belt then the quicker you're going to get to your best.
"But when you've got these big games, with the chance to get into the Champions League, you can understand why they're doing it.
"I think there are cases for and against it."
