Ally McCoist wants a Rangers and West Ham 'battle of Britain' Europa League final, but admits the semi-final draw wasn't the one he was after.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team travel to Germany to take on RB Leipzig in the first leg of their semi-final this Thursday.
David Moyes' men also face German opposition in the shape in Eintracht Frankfurt, who knocked out Barcelona in the quarter-finals.
The Gers legend reckons the Hammers have it slightly easier in their quest to reach the Europa League final, however.
Leipzig are favourites for the whole thing ahead of their clash with the Light Blues.
But they'll be well aware of the threat they could be posed after the Ibrox side thumped Borussia Dortmund 6-4 over two legs.
Speaking on talkSPORT, McCoist said: "I'd rather be playing Frankfurt than RB Leipzig.
"I just think Leipzig is a tougher game.
"I so want West Ham to beat Frankfurt, I really do."
