Ally McCoist joins in booming Rangers celebrations with players at Ibrox

Ally McCoist joins in booming Rangers celebrations with players at Ibrox

THERE were near 50,000 celebrating an incredible achievement at Ibrox as Rangers claimed a spot in the Europa League final. One of them was Ally McCoist.

The former Ibrox striker couldn't help but join in the wild celebrations as the Rangers players lapped up the support from the crowd after the match.

McCoist was at Ibrox on BT Sport punditry duty, and footage from the broadcaster captured the moment McCoist danced and celebrated from the TV gantry as he pointed to the Rangers stars before him on the pitch.

Fellow pundit Kenny Miller remained a little more composed as celebrations continued at Ibrox with the BT Sport camera bouncing due to the noise and movement in the stadium.

Speaking during the clip shared by BT Sport, McCoist added: "Look at them, every one of them, absolutely tremendous.

"I'm absolutely buzzing, I can't tell you, look the supporters, everything, dear me..."

Rangers progressed after a 3-2 aggregate victory over RB Leipzig. Rangers were 1-0 down after the first-leg but claimed a 3-1 win at Ibrox to make the final.

James Tavernier netted the first after just 18 minutes before Glen Kamara added a second just six minutes laters.

Christopher Nkunku pulled one back in the second half to level the score on aggregate. But John Lundstram's finish from inside the box won the day with ten minutes left.
