Ally McCoist reckons Callum McGregor has had his card marked by Rangers as he cited a quiet performance from the Celtic captain in defeat at Ibrox.
Philippe Clement's side cruised to a 3-0 victory on Thursday with McGregor - who is often pivotal on derby day - largely anonymous throughout proceedings.
Ibrox hero McCoist was thrilled by the somewhat unexpected result as he hailed Rangers for their display while also suggesting no Celtic player would receiver pass marks.
On talkSPORT, McCoist said of the match: "Och I was always going to go, I wasn't missing that match for anything. What did you make about that performance?
"The one thing I would say in the last few games is that Callum McGregor has been really, really quiet.
"It looks like he's had his card marked a little bit when they're out of possession, they just put someone on him and he's finding it a lot more difficult to get on the ball.
He added: "You know, we need to get the fans back into the stadiums. And did you know Rangers starting line-up had 11 different nationalities. Incredible.
"But I was delighted for Philippe Clement. I think it was his first victory against Celtic in seven attempts. And Brendan's record games is absolutely remarkable.

Rangers ‘strongly condemn’ incident between supporter & Celtic player
"It was a big result for Rangers and particularly for the manger. You could see it and feel it in his interviews after the game.
"What surprised me was the margin of the victory and the gap between the two teams. I know it is only one game and we are not going to get carried away.
"Celtic are going onto win the league I would have to say but even that performance surprises me, the level, the difference between the two teams.
"I'm not sure you're giving any Celtic players a pass mark. They were second best all over the pitch, I can't remember a shot on goal until around half time. While obviously Rangers hit the post and the bar as well.
"Certainly in the first half at Motherwell, I know they came back and scored a couple of goals and got a draw, but for the previous couple of games, or a game and a half, Rangers had been very very poor. I'm not sure the most eternal optimist would have predicted a 3-0."
