Jubilant Ally McCoist admits he had no clue his dancing was being beamed across Britain after Rangers secured their place in the Europa League Final.
The Ibrox icon went viral as he jumped up and down with the players on the pitch who spotted him on punditry duty after the 3-1 win over RB Leipzig.
McCoist's epic reaction was lapped up by Rangers supporters as they secured a first European final appearance since 2008 - a team the pundit was assistant manager of.
And the giggling Ibrox hero was in jovial mood days after a triumph for the ages as he played along with radio sidekick Laura Woods over the achievement Gio van Bronckhorst masterminded.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "Rangers (in the Europa League Final)?
"You're making that up, seriously?
"I would say that is nearly impossible nowadays, with the financial disparity between top clubs.
"That would be just too big an achievement to happen."
But Woods was quick to hone in on the post-match dancing that had punters up and down the land talking.
And McCoist insists he received a pardon from his son for the epic reaction to salute the team he loves.
He added: "It's time to go to a break, is it not?
"I would like to give everybody an explanation for that, which can only described as a moment of madness,
"I honestly thought the cameras were on the pitch looking at the crowd, the players dancing about and you can hear the voices of the pundits in the background.
"Alas, it wasn't the case, when Darrell asked me a question, I thought we were a couple of minutes into the question and I couldn't be bothered answering it anymore, I'll just have a dance.
"I wasn't aware that the cameras were in fact on the pundits rather than the playing members on the field.
"I got a great text, from my oldest son, who was out enjoying that particular result that evening, at half past 12.
"All it said on the text was 'I'll let you off dad, because of the occasion'.
"There was a blatant refusal at that point to do my job properly, there's no getting away from it."
