Fuming Ally McCoist has blasted Celtic assistant John Kennedy after he claimed he helped RB Leipzig to a first leg win over Rangers.
The Bundelsiga side take a narrow 1-0 lead to Ibrox in the Europa League second leg after Angelino's later strike at the RB Arena.
Leipzig coach and former Celtic star Andreas Hinkel stated that that he has been seeking pointers about Rangers from Parkhead assistant John Kennedy before the game.
The pair played together during Hinkel's spell in Glasgow's east end and Kennedy was on the other end of the phone to help out his old pal.
That sparked a furious reaction from Rangers legend McCoist - who insists the Celtic no. 2 has only hampered Scottish football as a whole and the nations UEFA coefficient total.
Speaking on BT Sport's Scottish Football Extra, McCoist raged: "Don't start me on the coefficient by the way.
"Everybody in Scotland seems delighted with the coefficient, apart from John Kennedy, who is trying to lower the coefficient by all accounts.
"Andreas Hinkel phones him and says 'what about that Rangers?' and John says 'oh I'll give you all the information you want Andreas, you are from Germany, have all the information on Rangers, that will really help the coefficient in Scotland'.
"What is going on with you lot (speaking to fellow pundit Chris Sutton)? It's treason, treason I tell you."
However, McCoist may be forgetting the time where he helped out a European side against Celtic.
Rangers gave Juventus use of their Murray Park training facilities while in Glasgow in 2013.
The Serie A outfit will trained at the Auchenhowie ahead of their Champions League last-16 clash at Celtic Park.
