Ally McCoist and Chris Sutton have jokingly clashed once more ahead of an Old Firm derby - with the latter stating that Saturday's clash 'doesn't matter' amid the title already in the bag.
This will be the sixth clash of the season between the bitter rivals, with Celtic winning four - two of those being at Hampden Park - and the other being a draw. Rangers haven't beaten the Hoops in the league since August 2021 in what was Ange Postecoglou's first derby outing, but Michael Beale will be hoping to change that today.
All things considered, even if the Gers win, it would be for pride. The primary focus would be ending a run of six games without a league win over their green and white rivals - in the grand scheme of the rivalry, it won't change the league table.

Sutton alluded to as much when previewing the tie with McCoist, but he made an error when suggesting the game 'didn't matter'. McCoist quickly reminded him Old Firm derbies always matter - though the former Chelsea man suggested it would only be for Rangers to overturn their embarrassment.
McCoist started the jibes, jokingly calling Sutton out for some comments he made that suggested today's Old Firm 'didn't matter', saying to BT Sport: "Hold on, wait a minute. Did I just hear Mr Sutton say that an Old Firm game doesn't matter? Can I hear that? Give me that one more time."
But Sutton shot him down, calling Rangers 'embarrassing' for getting gee'd up for a dead rubber clash.
The Englishman said: "It DOESN'T matter. Look at you getting excited about a dead rubber because your team hasn't won a game all season. How are you going to get excited when Celtic may be motivated, they may not be.
“From Rangers' point of view it has been an embarrassing season. There has been a lot of talk and if Rangers win we will probably hear a lot of talk about 'Glasgow is blue' but the truth is Celtic have spanked their backsides all season."
McCoist kept up the banter, replying: "There speaketh a big English centre forward. An Old Firm game that doesn't matter? You have lost your marbles. Do you want to retract that statement?"
But Sutton had the last laugh, quipping: "No, I don't want to retract the statement! Celtic are on for a treble.
"It's NOT important. In the grand scheme of things it's not important."
