Ally McCoist admits he will be watching Rangers' clash with Napoli from behind his couch.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst takes his Light Blues to face the unbeaten group leaders and Serie A high-flyers in matchday five of their Champions League adventure. The Italian outfit are already through but will have aspirations of keeping their 100 per cent record and securing top spot in the section. They've been relentless in front of goal and already bagged big wins over Liverpool and Ajax.
Rangers are yet to get off the mark in the group while they are continuing to struggle for real form and consistency. Dropped points at home to Livingston sends them to Naples four points behind Celtic in the race for the title and facing a daunting task as they bid to keep hopes of Europa League football after Christmas alive. However, Ibrox hero McCoist isn't holding out much hope for his former side. Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "My thoughts are that I am going to be watching that particular encounter from behind the couch. Through fingers like that (over his face)."

Should Rangers secure a stunning result and Liverpool defeat Ajax then it would take it down to a final shootout at Ibrox in the fight for third spot. The Dutch side defeated Van Bronckhorst's men 4-0 in the opening game so boast a superior head to head if it was to be a three point gap ahead of the meeting between the pair in Govan.
The pressure is on the current crop and boss Van Bronckhorst to turn in big performances and results with McCoist calling on that to come, starting in Naples on Wednesday night.
He added: "It’s big. If we want to continue in the Europa League then we need to get something out of the game, with the other result going our way. This is our last chance. It’s going to be hard, but we are going to try.
"It’s a tough tournament but it’s a really good opportunity to change it. We need to get our form back, play better and more aggressive. It’s time to act and it has to start at Napoli.”
