A woman accused of trafficking hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of illegal drugs is set to face court in Western Australia after being extradited from Victoria.
The 34-year-old is charged with four drug offences related to the alleged supply of methylamphetamine and money laundering, WA police say.
The woman is scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday over allegations she organised the transport of 3kg of the drug from NSW and Victoria to WA in August and November 2021.
Police will also allege the woman sold the drugs using associates that she coordinated from Victoria.
The woman is also accused of attempting to buy 5kg of methylamphetamine for $1 million cash.
Victoria police arrested the woman in Port Melbourne on Monday on a WA arrest warrant and she appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court, where she was refused bail.
The same court approved the woman's extradition to WA on Tuesday and she was flown to Perth on Wednesday.
Detectives seized about 3kg of methylamphetamine and over $3 million cash during the investigation.
