Jacob Murphy replaced Saint-Maximin and put in a decent shift against top-four chasing West Ham.

Speaking about Saint-Maximin's injury, Howe told reporters: "He got a kick on his calf last week and it was too sore to play today - it was a late call, we hoped he might make the game but he didn't."

Images of Saint-Maximin in the gym will leave United fans encouraged they'll see the winger back on Saturday.
