London Book Fair 2025 is under way and is once more an essential date in the diary for anyone who works in the literary or publishing world.
On the back of World Book Day, the three-day event is back this week to bring the great and the good of the industry to the capital to, quite literally, swap stories.
“London Book Fair is the perfect place for exhibitors to engage with customers, build brand awareness, conduct face-to-face business and make sales,” an organiser said. “Exhibitors and visitors return year-on-year to develop relationships, gain insights, and set the tone for the year ahead.”
The event has now been running for 50 years and can count on big-name backers, such as celebrity writer Richard Osman.
“I’ve just been speaking to a bunch of people about my new novel who I assumed are in the book trade and are incredibly important,” said presenter Osman, who has in recent years decided to give fiction a go with his Thursday Murder Club and We Solve Murders series.
Here is all you need to know about the 2025 event.

“After 50 years, The London Book Fair has become an essential part of the international book trade calendar and is the pre-eminent Spring event of the publishing year,” organisers have said.
The 2025 fair will be no different and will contain talks, seminars, a writers’ summit and trade conferences.
There will also be the annual Trailblazer Awards to “celebrate those who are taking the industry by storm” and honour an inspiring individual with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
