ALL Under One Banner (AUOB) is organising a march through Dumfries to demand the dissolution of the Union.
The group is looking to gather support across the Yes movement for the march on Saturday June 11.
The procession will kick-off from High Street at 12.30 pm and make its way through Burns/Castle street, Buccleuch Street, Whitesands, Dockhead, ending in Dock Park.
Naming the march “Dissolve the Union”, AUOB wrote on Facebook: “For a considerable period of time Scotland has voted for political parties and policies that have not been represented in any way by Westminster Governments. The latest example of this is the awful Tory government led by Boris Johnson.
“People in Scotland should be governed by a Government of their choice, and not one imposed on them. Only by dissolving the Union and realising independence will we be able to ensure we always get the Government that we vote for. It is our right to decide.”
