All The Winners (And Losers) From The 2025 BAFTA Awards

We’re well and truly in awards season, folks. The latest glitzy event bringing out the world’s buzziest actors in their finest frocks is the British Academy Film Awards, otherwise known as the BAFTAs.

While the Oscars are thought of as the biggest achievement in film, due to the overlapping voters between the BAFTAs and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (the people that decide the winners of the Oscars), it’s often thought of as an indicator on which way the Academy Award winners will go.

This year, there were some surprises. Although Sean Baker‘s comedy-drama Anora has been tipped to be a frontrunner for the Oscars, it was the Vatican-based thriller Conclave and period drama The Brutalist that came out on top at the BAFTAs.

Conclave nabbed four BAFTA wins, including Best Film, Best British Film, Film Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay. The Brutalist‘s Brady Corbet landed Best Director, Adrien Brody won Best Actor and the film claimed Best Cinematography and Music Score.

A Real Pain, Jesse Eisenberg‘s comedy-drama about two cousin’s melancholy adventures, won Best Original Screenplay. Meanwhile, Anora‘s rising lead star Mikey Madison claimed Leading Actress over the likes of Demi Moore, Ariana Grade, Cynthia Erivo and Karla Sofía Gascón.

That’s only a snapshot of the many awards won (and lost!) at the 2025 BAFTAS. So, without further ado, here’s the full list of winners and losers at the BAFTAS.
