This list of road closures and roadworks will help drivers to plan their journeys across the North East this week.
We have rounded up all the work taking place in our region, in places including Newcastle, Northumberland, County Durham, Sunderland, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside. While some roads will be fully closed, others will have lane closures or temporary traffic measures.
Diversion routes may also be in place in some areas. Drivers are urged to make allowances for these closures and alter their travel arrangements if necessary. The following list is for the week from Monday June 5 to Sunday June 11.
