All the players linked with Swansea City so far ahead of Russell Martin's summer rebuild

Swansea City head coach Russell Martin has already suggested it will be busy summer for the club in the transfer window as he looks to rebuild his team for his third season at the helm.

With loanees such as Luke Cundle set to return to their clubs and Ryan Manning likely to depart, there will be a need for some fresh faces at the Swansea.com Stadium next term.

Even before the current campaign has ended, the rumour mill has been turning. Let’s look at some of the players linked with Swansea so far in more detail...

Josh Key

The 24-year-old versatile full-back’s contract expires at the end of this season. Key could be the perfect solution for Martin, but the player has attracted a lot of transfer interest ahead of this summer. Key’s versatility to play as a right-sided full-back with the capability to drop into midfield could help unlock the Swans’ attack.

The English defender has shown his importance to Exeter City this season, racking up 40 appearances and picking up six goals and an assist along the way. Key will most likely be playing in the Championship next season, but will it be for Swansea?

Andrew Moran

Brighton and Hove Albion’s youngster is the latest name to be linked with Swansea and has played a pivotal part in the Seagulls’ Premier League 2 campaign, achieving seven goals and six assists in 17 appearances, earning him a new contract that will see him stay at the Amex Stadium until 2027.

The 19-year-old Republic of Ireland midfielder plays in a central role with the ability to push out on both sides of the pitch. Although a new contract has been confirmed for the youngster, Swansea could consider a loan move for the Irishman, an option that has worked out well for the club in the past, not least with Wolves man Cundle.

Chiedozie Ogbene

Rotherham’s right winger is available this summer, with the player’s contract set to expire, with Martin a big fan of the Republic of Ireland international. Ogbene has made 37 appearances for the Millers this term, netting seven goals and providing four assists. At 25 he brings experience and an attacking option.

He has played on both the left and right for Rotherham this season but prefers a central attacking role. Swansea's issue is that he'll likely attract interest from elsewhere and their inability to land him in January will likely spell disappointment for them, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce said to be in the mix for him.

A striker could be needed in SA1 this summer, especially should Joel Piroe move on, but a deal for Ogbene looks complicated.

Bryan Reynolds

This appears to be an optimistic link for the Swans. Reynolds has already attracted admiring glances from big European clubs such as Feyenoord and has played in Serie A for Roma. With so much experience at 21, getting pen to paper may be difficult.

He’s currently on loan with Belgium side Westerlo where the US international full-back has made 27 appearances, scoring once and racking up an impressive five assists. His agent has gone on record stating the player's intention is to push for a big European move this summer, thus likely ruling Swansea out of the equation.

Kellen Fisher

Looking ahead to the future, Bromley full-back Kellen Fisher could be one to keep an eye on. He’s a product of Bromley’s youth system and achieved his first pro contract at the start of the season.

After putting pen to paper, the young full-back swiftly made his full debut and has since been an important presence for the National League outfit. Swansea’s impressive youth system has produced young talents of their own; could Fisher be the next prodigy to add to the Swansea ranks?
