All the Nottinghamshire schools set to be improved using £456m fund

The schools which will receive government money for building improvements over the next year in Nottinghamshire have been named - and you can search to see which ones in your area will benefit. The government announced on Monday, May 22, that 859 schools will be receiving the latest round of funding to improve the condition of their buildings.

A total of £456 million will be spent on over 1,000 separate projects across England between 2023 and 2024. Carlton le Willows Academy, Whitemoor Academy, Scotholme Primary and Nursery School, Bramcote College have all been given funding for repairs - with many being classified as urgent.

The Condition Improvement Fund is awarded annually to academies, sixth-form colleges and voluntary-aided schools to ensure that their buildings are safe and in good working order. The projects include works such as roof repairs, fire safety enhancements, new boilers, and rewiring.

You can search to see which schools in your area will be affected and what work they will receive, using our interactive map.
