All the new sea creatures in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to collect now

Put on your wetsuit and start diving (Picture: Nintendo)

It's time to get diving for deep-sea life in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Thanks to a new update to the game, as of today we can all buy a wetsuit and start swimming out into the ocean surrounding our islands.

While you're out and about, you might notice some bubbles rising up from the deep – this means there's something down there, and, more importantly, it's something you can swim down and collect.

The process is super easy and since you're just out there catching things with your hands you don't have to worry about any tools breaking. All you need is a wetsuit which you can buy in Nook's Cranny shop now.

There's a bunch of new items and critters to collect while you're swimming so the only thing you need to worry about is having enough inventory space.

Don't worry, you can't be attacked by sharks or any other creature while you're out in the open water.
