A number of roadworks will cause some disruption to drivers in south Wales next week (February 13 to 19). Traffic Wales and National Highways have confirmed a number of routes will be affected in the coming week with lane closures.
The roadworks could lead to possible lane closures and delays for anyone travelling near Cardiff, Newport and Swansea.

M4 roadworks
- The M4 westbound between junctions 21 and 23 will be affected by roadworks starting from February 15 and running until April 14. Level of disruption is listed as moderate.
- The M4 eastbound between junctions 23 and 22 will be affected by roadworks from February 13 to 15 with moderate disruption expected.
- The M4 eastbound between junctions J3 and J22 will have roadworks again starting on February 15 and running until April 14. It's only expected to cause slight disruption.
- The M4 westbound between junctions 22 and 23 are affected by long running roadwork not due to end until March 31 2024, but the work is only expected to cause slight disruption.
- The M4 eastbound between junctions 23 22 will be affected by roadworks from February 15 to April 14. Again, disruption is expected to be only slight.
- The M4 westbound between junctions 22 and 23 will have roadworks starting on February 13 until February 15 with slight disruption expected.
- The M4 eastbound exit slip at junction 19 will be affected by emergency barrier repairs. The repairs start on February 13 and end on February 14 with slight disruption caused.
