All the Love Island 2023 stars who have already returned to their normal day jobs

It's only been a month since the winter series of Love Island ended and some of the stars are already planning to step away from the spotlight.

Viewers were delighted when PE teacher Kai Fagan and social worker Sanam Harrinanan were crowned the winners of the ITV2 dating competition.

Financial advisor Ron Hall and make-up artist Lana Jenkins were runners-up after a chaotic month in the villa.

After leaving the reality series, the stars were hit with newfound fame but it isn't a lifestyle for everyone.

Although many Love Island contestants go on to sign deals with fashion brands, some chose to return to their original careers.

The Mirror take a look at the stars who are returning to their old jobs...

Tanya, who is currently dating Shaq Muhammad, had a rollercoaster ride of a time in the villa but her real life is a little different.

The 23-year-old already has experience in being an influencer part-time but was studying for her biomedical science degree before she went into the villa.

She plans to complete her degree at Salford University before taking the next step.

"I’m definitely going to finish," she said.

Before entering the villa, Tanya revealed: "It's definitely something I'm going to go back to when I finish Love Island. I literally love it. I surprised myself throughout the whole course how much I loved it."

Kai Fagan

Kai's already got a lot on his plate after winning the £50,000 prize with his girlfriend Sanam.

Before finding love on the show, he was a PE and science teacher.

He doesn't have any plans on leaving his career in education and explained his objectives to his followers.

Kai said he wants to "carry on working in education in some sort of capacity."

"I still want to carry on working in education in some sort of capacity but hopefully it’ll be around encouraging students into sports participation," he said.

“That was something I was thinking before Love Island. I still have my qualified teacher status and I can still apply for teaching jobs and go back into it.

“In the future I know that will be my pathway and yes in the future I will be going back into education in some way.”

Will Young

Will was already a popular TikToker before entering the villa (farmer_will_/Instagram)

Will Young was already a farmer and a TikTok star before he entered the villa so life might not become too different for him.

He went viral many times with his farming content, including videos of dancing with his sheep as well as sheering them.

Farmer Will became a fan-favourite on the show and found love with Aussie Jessie Wynter.

It came as no surprise that the star immediately jumped back into being at the farm - and he took Jessie along with him for the ride.

Jessie seems to be enjoying life with Will and recently said: "I feel if I hadn't gone back to the farm it might have been too overwhelming coming straight into a new country, the hustle and bustle."

Tanyel Revan

Tanyel Revan was a hairdresser before she entered the villa.

However, she only managed to stay on the show until a few days before the dramatic Casa Amor episodes.

Since leaving the villa, the 26-year-old has been posting before and after pictures of her clients' hairstyles.

She returned to work a few days after the reunion was filmed.

Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo

Cynthia is a dental receptionist and baker from North London and joined the series for the Casa Amor episodes.

The star had a brief fling with Casey O'Gorman but he ended up choosing Claudia Fogarty in the recoupling, who he was first coupled up with.

After getting dumped from the villa, she revealed she returned to her day job.

She took to her Instagram to reveal she's baking goods for her cake business, Cynful Treats.

Promoting the business told her Instagram followers: "Mother's Day boxes are live!! Send me a DM or email over at @cynfultreats_ to order from the Mother's Day range."

Claudia Fogarty

She also hopes to become a fitness influencer (claudiafogarty/Instagram)

Claudia Fogarty owns a few businesses with her sister Danielle.

Although she made a big impression in the villa, she returned to promoting her fashion brand after the show ended.

The 28-year-old recently shared a snap of herself wearing a pair of socks from her and her sister's brand, Sister Stories.

The siblings also have a boutique called Storm Fashion.

Her sister said in 2019: "We opened the doors to Storm on 1 May and are already so overwhelmed with how well it is going."

Claudia also shared her interest in becoming a fitness influencer.

"Fitness has always been a big thing for me and battling with my weight from time to time so I think it’s good to come out here and be a little bit of an inspiration to people," she said.

Olivia Hawkins

Before causing tensions in the villa, Olivia was a ring girl and an actress.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed her in music videos and in TV shows such as Top Boy, EastEnders and Return To Hogwarts.

And it looks like she's returning to her roots.

She recently said she is set to appear in the tenth instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X.

"Yeah. In the party scene," she said. "I don't know when it's coming out…"

Tom Clare

He swiftly returned to his career at Macclesfield FC (Instagram/tomclare__)

Tom Clare put his football career on hold when he entered the villa.

The star, who came in third place, played for local club Macclesfield FC, and the team kept a place for him for his return.

Before entering the villa, his team said: "Macclesfield FC can confirm that the club have granted Tom Clare an extended period of leave in order to appear in this year's Love Island competition."

After leaving the show, he immediately returned to the pitch and was welcomed back with open arms.
