Teachers will be going on strike to attempt to improve their poor pay and conditions amid the cost-of-living crisis.
Members of the National Education Union (NEU), voted massively in favour of strike action earlier this year. This means members of the union will be out on strike.
As a result, a number of schools have been forced to close or partially close.
Here is a list of the schools in Leeds closed due to the strikes:

- Hunslet Carr Primary School (partial closure)
- John Smeaton Academy (partial closure)
- Leeds East Academy (partial closure)
- Leeds West Academy (partial closure)
- The Morley Academy (partial closure)
- Oulton Academy (partial closure)
- Oulton Primary School (partial closure)
- Prince Henry's, Otley (partial closure)
- Pudsey Grammar School (partial closure)
- The Ruth Gorse Academy (partial closure)
St Chad's CE Primary School (partial closure)
