Creamfields will be making a welcome return this bank holiday weekend as the dance festival prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Taking place in Daresbury, Cheshire from Thursday, August 25 to Sunday, August 28, 250 acts will be performing over the course of the weekend. Saturday night is set to be a highlight as Scottish DJ, Calvin Harris, returns to Creamfields for the first time in three years.

To avoid any complications at the event, it is important that festivalgoers are aware of the items that they can and can't take into the festival. To help those looking forward to a weekend of music, we've compiled a list of all the items that are prohibited at this year's event. Other items are allowed in the campsite but can't be taken into the main arena.
Items which cannot be taken into Creamfields 2022:

Air horns
Blowtorches
Campervans
Camp fires
Chinese lanterns
Drones or other unmanned aerial vehicles
Firearms, weapons, sharps
Firewood
Fireworks/pyrotechnics
Flag poles (flags are allowed)
Flares
Gas canisters/cylinders
Gazebos
Generators
Glass (includes perfume and aftershave bottles. Make up compact mirrors are allowed)
Hammers
Illegal substances/drugs
Illegal items
Laser pens/laser equipment
Masks/face garments (some face masks allowed)
New psychoactive substances
Nitrous oxide and associated equipment
Petrol burners
Professional audio/visual recording equipment
Projectiles
Smoke bombs/canisters
Sound system (includes portable speakers)
Spray cans
Umbrellas (large, golfing)
Items which can be taken into the campsite but not the main arena:
Alcohol (no glass bottles and kegs. One 24 can/plastic crate of beer/cider and one litre of spirit or wine in plastic bottle per person)
Bags over A4 size (A4 sized bags or under are allowed in the event arena)
Cans
Chairs
Cooking stoves (solid fuel hexi stoves online)
Disposable barbecues (to be used in designated barbecue areas only)
Food
Soft drinks (500ml sealed water bottle or empty water bottle allowed)
