It is a big weekend ahead for Edinburgh with both the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Harry Styles concerts set to take place.
Fans of Styles will be overjoyed at the prospect of the pop icon playing not only one night but two at the capital’s Murrayfield Stadium.
But the massive sell out events are set to cause some disruption for those living in or travelling through the areas of Roseburn and Murrayfield.

Several roads will be closed in the build up to the highly anticipated concerts in order to be able to allow crowds to travel safely to the rugby stadium.
The council has stated that the closure will be implemented at the discretion of the multi agency control team.

- Roseburn Street
- Russell Road
- A8 corridor between Haymarket and Western Corner
- Murrayfield Road
Roads closed after the event on 26 & 27:

Those organising the Edinburgh Marathon Festival have set out a full list of road closures and parking restrictions for the events that are to take place across May 26, 27 and 28.
Both Edinburgh and East Lothian will see several road closures come into place over the weekend at various times for the marathon, half marathon, EMF relay and other events. Starting on Potterow, the main route goes through the old town, Princes Street Gardens and the Palace of Holyrood before heading down to Portobello.
Runners will then reach Musselburgh, before turning back and heading along the coast. Scroll down to check which city centre streets will be blocked off at which times, with the rest of the closures and parking restrictions available here.
