All the 2023 Nottinghamshire local election results

Election counts are taking place across Nottinghamshire as members of eight councils are chosen for the next four years. Voting has now closed in the 2023 local elections, the first ballots for which people have been required to bring a form of photo ID with them.

The elections are being held at Nottinghamshire's seven district and borough councils, as well as at Nottingham City Council. Nottinghamshire County Council operates on a different electoral cycle, with its next elections due in 2025.

Labour are currently in control of Nottingham City Council, Gedling Borough Council and Bassetlaw District Council. The Conservative Party, meanwhile, controls Rushcliffe Borough Council and Newark and Sherwood District Council.

The Ashfield Independents are going into the election in control of Ashfield District Council. Neither Broxtowe Borough Council or Mansfield District Council currently have one party in overall control.

To see if the situation at these eight authorities remains the same, counting is now taking place to determine who will be among their elected councillors for the next four years. Voting closed at 10pm on Thursday (May 4), and the only election counts happening overnight are in Ashfield and Bassetlaw.

The other six councils are having their election counts throughout Friday. You can type in your council below to find out the results for each ward as they come in.
