All Super Mario Wonder Special World entrances

Nintendo hid the Super Mario Wonder Special World entrances pretty darn well. Like Super Mario World’s Star World, Wonder’s Special World entrances take some extra skill and sleuthing to find. Each of Wonder’s six worlds has a Secret World entrance, and there’s a seventh in the Petal Isles overworld. Some involve tracking down a hidden exit, while others only appear when you’re using a Wonder Seed. Finding all Secret World entrances opens Wonder’s biggest challenges, so if you want to see everything that the latest Super Mario game has to offer, plan on tracking them down.

Mario Wonder Pipe Rock Plateau Special World entrance

Pipe Rock’s Special World entrance is in the Bulrush Express stage, and you’ll need the Elephant or Drill Mario power up to reach this area’s Special World entrance. The end of the Wonder Flower sequence drops you off in an area with a red pipe and a wall of blocks. Break the blocks, and take the yellow pipe behind them on the right side of the room.

Mario Wonder Fluff-Puff Peaks Special World entrance

Finding the Fluff-Puff Special World entrance is a bit more straightforward. When you reach the area where you climb up through the pink clouds, take a right turn. You’ll end up at Jump! Jump! Jump! stage, one of the region’s more challenging levels. Clear it and the level that opens after it, and you’ll open the Special World entrance.

Mario Wonder Shining Falls Special World entrance

Enter the Royal Seed Mansion at the end of Shining Falls, and then enter it again to unlock the Special World entrance. That’s all it takes this time.

Mario Wonder Sunbaked Desert Special World entrance

The Sunbaked Desert Special World entrance is in the Secrets of Shova Mansion stage. In the section just before the goal flag, you’ll see an enemy pushing a large green-and-yellow block and some breakable blocks behind them.

Defeat the enemy, destroy the blocks – a ground pound will work, if you don’t have any power ups on hand – and push the block into the empty spot as shown above. Hop into the yellow pipe that appears, and you’re all set.

Mario Wonder Fungi Mines Special World entrance

You’ll have to complete Operation Poplin Rescue twice to unlock this region’s Special World entrance.

Mario Wonder Petal Isles Special World entrance

For this one, you only need to clear every stage in the Petal Isles world. The Special World entrance pops up next to the first stage once you’re finished.

Mario Wonder Magma Bog Special World entrance

Finding the Magma Bog entrance is one of Mario Wonder‘s tougher challenges. You have to complete the “Expert Badge Challenge – Jet Run 2” stage and the levels that unlock after it, but Jet Run 2 only becomes playable once you’ve found 25 Wonder Seeds from the rest of Magma Bog’s stages.
